Soul Sisters
for girls finding their way

Guidance, education, and gatherings for girls navigating identity, body literacy, and life transitions.

Soul Sisters is an intergenerational space for girls and young women learning to understand themselves and their place in the world.

This is a time of change. The body shifts. Identity forms. Decisions begin to carry weight.

Through mentorship, gatherings, and educational resources, we offer a space to ask real questions, build self-trust, and grow with clarity.

This isn’t something girls are meant to navigate alone.

It takes a village.

How We Support

We offer a range of mentorship, education, and resources designed to support girls and young women through formative transitions.

  • We have a team of specialized and educated practitioners such as eating disorder recovery coaches, clinical counsellors, social workers, and life coaches to create personalized mentorship programs.

These are spaces to talk through real-life questions around identity and relationships, school and career decisions, understanding the body, and so much more. Sessions are held virtually for 50 minutes and are conversational, grounded, and tailored to the individual. In some cases, in person mentorship can be offered depending on location.

These sessions are not psychotherapy or medical care. When additional support is needed, we help connect you to the right resources.

We aim to offer accessible, sliding scale pricing to as many clients as possible and currently have a waiting list. Please book a free 15 minute consultation to explore our options for care.

  • We have a team of certified sexual health educators, hormonal and menstrual health coaches, and doulas who provide educational support for understanding the menstrual cycle, body changes, and reproductive health.

This includes coaching sessions, workshops, and resources with guidance for building an informed and confident relationship to the body.

We specialize in coaching for first periods through our workshop called The Talk, which can be facilitated as 1:1 session or as a group. It is a great way to introduce menstruation in an empowered way that educates girls on their options and what is normal vs abnormal.

These offerings are designed to be practical, age-appropriate, and rooted in clear, accessible education.

  • We regularly facilitate group spaces such as full-moon circles, expressive arts workshops, retreats and summer camps, virtually and in person. Check out our calendar below for upcoming events or contact us to inquire about private workshops or parties.

These spaces are designed to bring girls together in a structured, supportive environment. Topics may include identity, friendships, boundaries, emotional wellbeing, and body literacy. The goal is to build confidence in speaking, listening, and relating to others.

  • Soul Sisters is supported by a small network of practitioners, including specialists in counselling, eating disorder recovery, naturopathy and nutrition, menstrual health, and more.

We also help connect families and individuals to trusted professionals for more specific or clinical support.

I’m Vidya, the founder
of Soul Sisters.

I began in the education field, training as a teacher before shifting into reproductive health. Over the past eight years, I’ve worked as a doula, supporting women through major life transitions. Alongside this, I’ve always worked closely with girls through teaching dance, leading camps, and mentoring in community spaces.

Soul Sisters began in 2016 as a response to how many girls I worked with felt lost as they moved through adolescence. What started as goal-setting and sharing circles in a yoga studio in Toronto has since grown into an international community, with retreats and digital programs reaching thousands of girls.

My role is to offer grounded guidance during this metamorphosis, creating spaces where girls can blossom into their authentic selves and uplift one another along the way.

  • I started the Soul Sisters summer camp on a whim because I was bored during quarentine. Little did I know I was embarking on a journey that would change my entire outlook on life.

  • My mom gave me the period guide and a subscription to Soul Sisters for my first period and it made this transition actually exciting.

    —Sophie, age 12

  • I've been going to the Soul Sisters circles at my mom's yoga studio for a few months now and I've made a lot of new friends when I was feeling really lonely.
